(XII) Student Evaluation

(a) Internal Evaluation Internal evaluation is both formative and summative. For summative purpose it covers 25% of total weightage. Project work assessment is the internal assessment of reports and presentation of their project works either individually or group basis. In case of group presentation, every member of the group should submit a short reflection on the presented report in their own language. The criteria for internal evaluation are given in the table.

(b) External Evaluation:- External evaluation covers 75 % of total weightage. External evaluation consists of both the practical and written examination. The practical examination carries 25% and written examination carries 50%. Practical examination will be conducted in the presence of examiners. Practical evaluation must cover all the practical course areas and the criteria for Practical evaluation are in the table given below.

C Programming and Case Study must be in Handwritten Format.

  1. Which color pen and paper should be used for writing C Lab Work?
  2. Answer: You are advised to use either blue or black color ball pen only. In the case of paper it should be A4 size white color bond paper. You must use the same color pen throughout the particular lab work.
  3. In which form we have to submit the C lab work?
  4. Answer: Your C lab work must be in handwritten form. You have to write in single side only. Unnecessary design in your lab work can disapprove your lab report.
  5. What are the contents should be included in the C lab work ?
  6. Answer: First page of your lab report should be cover page (click here to download). From second page you have to write down the theory of the corresponding lab work means C lab work 1: Input / Output functions, then you have to write down the theory of input/output from your text book. After the completion of the theory , write down the answer of each c program with their algorithm , flowchart , C code and the output.

Remember the below points while doing Lab Work.

Note: Only handwritten lab work of C will be accepted.
  1. Print the cover page for each lab work , which you can get from blog.

  3. Write in single side only.
  4. Write the theory of related topics.
  5. While writing the lab report of each program there must be algorithm, Flowchart, C code and output of respective program.
  6. For any further queries, consult with subject teacher.
Point to Remember:
  • Use passive voice while writing
  • Use third person (do not use I or we; instead use “it was done”)
  • For font:
    • Use font size 12 pt. and “Times new roman” as font
    • Use 1.5 (single) spacing for sentences
    • Use 1” for all sides as page set-up/margin. You can set a little more for gutter (1”+0.0.2”)
    • For titles and subtitles, you can increase the font size to 16 or 14 respectively
  • Use proper formatting (justify)
  • Start numbering on page from theory part of application.
  • If you need then you can use header and footer properly
  • Do spiral binding.
  • Do not write/print on both sides of the page. Use page size A4.
  • The work done by you should be genuine and not copied. If found then in summary it will be rejected. You may be asked to do it again.
